Lahore Qalandars sealed a six-wicket win over Quetta Gladiators in a nail-biting PSL X final at Gaddafi Stadium. Chasing 202, Kusal Perera’s unbeaten 62 led the successful run-chase with just one ball remaining.


Qalandars Chase Down 202 in Final-Over Drama
Qalandars reached 204/4 in 19.5 overs, with the crowd on edge until the final delivery. Mohammad Naeem scored a vital 46, while Abdullah Shafique added 41. Sikandar Raza finished unbeaten on 22 to complete a composed chase.


Gladiators Post Formidable Total After Early Wobble
Quetta Gladiators opted to bat first and posted 201/9. Despite losing openers early, Hasan Nawaz powered the innings with 76 runs. Support came from Avishka Fernando (29), Faheem Ashraf (28), and twin 22s from Chandimal and Rossouw.


Shaheen Leads with Ball in Fiery Final Display
Shaheen Afridi struck three crucial blows for Lahore, ending with top figures. Salman Mirza and Haris Rauf chipped in with two wickets each, while Sikandar Raza and Rishad Hossain added one apiece to limit Gladiatorsโ€™ late charge.

Wicketkeeper-batter Kusal Perera was awarded Player of the Final for his match-winning 62*. His calm presence at the crease proved decisive in navigating the pressure of a high-stakes chase on cricketโ€™s grandest domestic stage in Pakistan.


Quettaโ€™s Bowling Effort Falls Just Short
Despite defending a challenging total, Quettaโ€™s bowlers couldnโ€™t hold back Lahoreโ€™s momentum. Mohammad Amir, Abrar Ahmed, Usman Tariq, and Faheem Ashraf took one wicket each, but failed to break partnerships at key moments in the game.
